Section 34
Able to conduct forestry and tourism programs
(1) The consumer group may conduct the forest enterprise and tourism program specified in the approved action plan by itself or in partnership with the local level or association or the private sector or cooperatives by following the prescribed procedure. Explanation: For the purpose of this section, the term "forestry" includes the keeping of wild animals.
(2) The responsibility of the consumer group shall not be deemed to have been transferred merely because they have shared in the operation in accordance with sub-section (1).
(3) When establishing and operating a forest enterprise in accordance with sub-section (1), an action plan shall be prepared and operated based on the standards set by the Ministry.
(4) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-sections (1) and (2), during the operation of the tourism program, any group or association that creates physical infrastructure and changes the land use of the forest area contrary to the prevailing law and forest action plan will be prosecuted in accordance with this Act.
(5) In accordance with sub-section (1), the granting of licenses for the operation of forest enterprises and tourism programs and other arrangements related to the operation of such programs shall be as prescribed.
